How does it all work?

So, the whole concept behind Popperswop is that you can change the look of a piece of jewellery simply by changing the button on it. This means you don't have to take a whole bag full of jewellery when you go away, you just take your items such as one bracelet, one necklace, and a pair of earrings, and take some buttons to match your different coloured outfits! It's so easy and makes packing for a break away a whole lot easier and quicker!

The buttons don't attach by magnets. As our name suggests, they are popper buttons and simply 'pop in' and out of the fixings on the jewellery.

To change a button, you pry them out using your finger. If you find this difficult we sell 'Popper Pickers' which can help with this task!

What is the difference between your Standard and Petite Buttons?

Our standard buttons measure around 18 - 20 mm. This is the size button we make your personalised photos, names, and logos into, as being bigger, they make the design clearer to see. If you prefer statement pieces of jewellery then this is the size to go for! As a general rule, our petite size buttons are about half the size at around 12 mm so if you like your jewellery smaller and perhaps more dainty, then you may be better off with this size. All our buttons are divided into sizes in all of the Women's, Men and Kids sections. The standard buttons will only fit our standard fitting jewellery, and likewise the petite buttons can only be popped into our petite fitting pieces. The picture below (though not actual size) gives you an idea of the size difference between the two.

Do you have a shop?

We do yes! Built in April 2019, 'PopperSwop HQ' is fitted out like a shop, and serves as a space for us to create our buttons and jewellery. If you're lucky enough to live in, or be staying in Cornwall on holiday, we warmly welcome visitors! Just message us to select a convenient time for us both!

I would like several personalised buttons made up. How do I upload more than 1 photo?

The facility on the website for uploading photos will allow only one picture to be uploaded. Therefore if you need more than one design of a  photo button, you will simply need to email popperswop@yahoo.com after you have gone through the payment process, to send us the photos you require. Alternatively you'll find our email address in the 'Contact' section of this website. 

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

We do yes! These are perfect for those you might not know the wrist measurement of, or if you are unsure whether they would prefer our standard or petite buttons. Or maybe you're feeling confused by the vast array of colours and styles! With a voucher, they can choose exactly what they would like! We have denominations available from £5 all the way up to £40 to suit all budgets. Find them in our 'Extras' section on here!

What is your jewellery made from?

We like to give our customers an affordable shopping experience here at PopperSwop, so we keep costs down by choosing not to use solid 925 silver. This would make our items very expensive to produce and therefore sell. Our jewellery is effectively costume jewellery and so our pieces tend to be mostly silver plated, or made from metals such as stainless steel, brass and occasionally copper. We can however, on some styles of earrings, attach 925 silver ear wires for a small extra cost. This means those customers with any allergies can still wear our beautiful earrings!Most of our sparkly type buttons are silver plated and include semi precious stones, imitation pearl, and glass and crystal diamanté. Our personalised buttons are made from alloy metal, glass and fade resistant, quality photographic paper.We also use leather, beads, artificial leather, silicone and cord.
The best way to keep your jewellery looking shiny, is to clean them with a dry polishing cloth. As with a lot of jewellery, we recommend you don't wear your pieces in the water, whether it be a shower, swimming pool, or the sea, to stop them from tarnishing. Also take care when using sun tan lotion and perfume products.

As well as helping small businesses promote their work through use of logo buttons, we also like to work with couples looking to find affordable jewellery and accessories for their wedding party, customers wanting to shop from the comfort of their own home (Our Prosecco and Popper Parties are exremely popular!) and children who love the fun, hands on idea of creating their own bracelets with friends! All about Payment and Delivery

We accept all major credit and bank cards as well as Paypal. If you have a Coupon Code, please enter it in the box at Checkout BEFORE you fill in your name and address details.

Here at PopperSwop, we do pretty! All of our items we send out are packaged to make them look lovely for the recipient! Depending on the size of the items, that means using organza bags, or strong cards that cleverly hold the buttons securely during transit. Cufflinks are always boxed. We use jiffy bags to protect your order during transit.

We like to keep postage costs affordable, so we offer First and Second class postage and packaging on all items at a flat rate of £2.60 for First and £1.90 for Second. So however much you order, it won't go above these prices. If your order totals £50 or more then we'll even send your order for free! For peace of mind, we also offer a Royal Mail Signed For service for £5.00 (which will provide some compensation should your order go astray)

If you live locally or are in the area, you are also welcome to come and collect your order from PopperSwop HQ.

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible in all cases. For First class, if we receive your order before Midday you are likely to receive your order in about 3 days. For Second class, it may be around 5-7 days. For personalised orders, and at busy times such as Christmas, orders may obviously take a little longer. We will always notify customers in advance on our homepage if orders are taking longer to send than usual, or if we are away.
